I finally got all caught up on my editing! Yipee! Now I can relax and enjoy my Winter Break!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

I just love snow! It reminds me of all the snowy winters in New Jersey. Yesterday was my birthday. Santa in Fife comes through the neighborhood every year giving out little gifts to the children. Kylen was so scared. Later on, I wanted a birthday picture with Kylen...but he wasn't in the mood...I think he was scared of the cold. We then took some pictures by the Christmas tree. Later that night my sister, Kelly, and her boyfriend, Jeff, came over to celebrate my 29th! She surprised me with a beautiful Coach necklace!!! I love it so much! Today we just hung out at home. Bella, Kylen, and I went for a little walk in the snow. It was so pretty. Here are a bunch of photos from the past 2 days. Enjoy!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

What a busy couple of weeks!  I'm *almost* caught up on my editing!  Yipee!  The last few days have been crazy.  Monday and Tuesday were 2 hour delays due to a tiny bit of snow.  Then Wednesday was a snow day.  I didn't even see snow on Wednesday!  Today we had school and the roads were really bad.  They were a sheet of ice.  It took me about a hour and 1/2 to get to work!  Luckily we already got the phone call that school is cancelled for tomorrow.  Yeah!  I'm really excited to have the next 2 weeks off.  I really need to catch up on a lot of things.  Kylen and I went to the South Hill mall yesterday to see Santa.  He did not like him at all!!!  I guess everyone has to have that screaming baby picture w/ Santa..hehe.  We finally got the tree up and decorated yesterday also.  It was great to finally get to put up all the ornaments I've been collecting since college...especially the Hallmark teacher ones.  Well, I'm exhausted!  G'night!  Here are a couple of pictures from a session I did last weekend.  Enjoy!

I heart Yakima!

I just got back from Yakima from a Reading First training. On my way there I stopped in Ellensburg. I had to get an updated CWU alumni tshirt and sweatshirt. I couldn't help it...I had to buy Kylen a little Central outfit too! I couldn't believe how much the campus changed within the last (almost) 8 years! They have a brand new SUB which was pretty impressive! While I was in Yakima I came across Ummelina Spa. I decided to splurge and get a 1/2 hour massage. It was sooooooooooooooooooooo nice and exactly what I needed. Here are a few pictures from my recent sessions. Enjoy!

Yesterday one of my best friends, Melissa, got married in Seattle. It was a beautiful night! They had the event at Palisade in Seattle. If you've never been there, GO! The food was soooooooooo good! Here's a sneak peek from the night! Luv you guys!!!

It's Party Time!

We had Kylen's birthday part yesterday at Godfather's Pizza. We had so much fun! He got a ton of fun toys and new clothes! We are realy blessed. Here's a collage I made from the photos my FIL and friend Jessica took. My camera died after the first picture. (cute one though!)

I can't believe my baby is 1 year old! Yesterday came and went so fast! Kylen started out his big day waking up happy in his crib. Then we got dressed and headed on over to Grammy Evins' house while I went to a reading conference. He took a long nap and then we went over to Ms. Phyllis' house to take some cake pictures. He didn't like the cake (probably too sweet). We did get a few cute pictures including the one below. After that we went back to my mom's house for dinner and birthday cake. He was so excited! Auntie Kelly and Uncle Jeffie got Kylen some cool overalls w/ a guitar on it. Grammy and Grandpa got Kylen a red wagon. After cake, we went home and tried out Kylen's new Fisher Price horse. He LOVED it...but was really tired..so we called it a night! What a day!

Exploring Tacoma!

Today I got to explore Tacoma with 2 photo sessions. I started the day downtown at this beautiful, funky salon for a senior session. (Thanks Phyllis for letting me join you!) We found some neat places for an urban feel. Poor "M"! She was freezing...but such a good sport! In the afternoon I met up with a beautiful family at Owens Beach for some family pictures. Busy Busy Busy!

It's been very busy here these past few weeks! I've had a bunch of sessions and a beautiful wedding. I can't believe Kylen will be one next Wednesday! Here are a few pictures of some recent photo sessions and my favorite "I hate my Halloween costume" pictures.

Today I met up with some local photographers at a coffee shop in Burien. We lucked out! It stopped raining for a little bit, so we headed on over to Seahurst Park for some practice. Here are some photos from today. I can't wait to do this again! Fun fun!
