Back to School

The days of summer are over...did they ever really begin? I'm sad that summer is over, and I have to go back to work. These past few days I've had to go into work all day...and I've just missed Kylen soooooooooooooo much! It's a lot harder now that he's older. He's been having fun though w/ Grammy, Ms. Amy, and the boys! Yesterday I did a practice session for the soccer pictures I'm doing in September. Here's one of my favs:

They're baaaaaaaaaaack!

As some of you know, I had a horrible experience w/ my wedding photographers back in 2005. Well...periodically...I check to make sure they're no longer in business...b/c they were so rude and unprofessional to me and my family...and for the past 2 years...they've been "missing." I don't know what made me check today...but I did and they're back! Yuck! To top it off...it says that they photographed Ruben Studdard's wedding?! OMG! Crazy! Hopefully he had a good experience with them and doesn't have an unfished piece of crappola wedding album in his closet.. *sigh* Okay...it's after 3am...need to sleep!

I always have to have a pic w/ my posts...so here's a cutie from a while back. Ky's been grumpy these past few days...so no new pictures yet! Soccer practice shoot on Monday...stay tuned!

To be 3 again!

Tuesday was a fun, busy day! In the morning, I got together with Sara and Mr. A for some pictures. He's 3 years old and wanted nothing more than to play in the playground...and run away from me! ;-) We made a deal though and took turns playing in the playground and taking Mr. Cool pictures...hehe. What a cutie! Here are a couple that I love. I'm having a black and white day...so my favorites so far are BW! Enjoy!
*UPDATE: Dan's surgery is officially this coming Thursday...lots of prayers would be greatly appreciated!!!!*

Love is in the air!

What a HOT weekend! On Saturday, my coworker (Mo) got married. (I did their engagement pictures back in May/June.) It was a beautiful wedding...so perfect! Today I did a ton of laundry and hung out w/ my sister. We took a little trip to Owens Beach. Good news!!!! Dan just got his surgery for his knee approved...FINALLY! We're thinking that his surgery is going to be this coming Thurday. Well, Kylen is throwing a fit...better go calm him down!!

Reading Coach

Well, today I was asked to take the Reading Coach position at my school. After lots of thinking and talking to some of my coworkers...I said yes! It's only a one year position...so it gives me the chance to do something new, and then get my classroom position back. I'm nervous and excited all at once! I scored some background paper on Craigslist for super cheap the other day, so I decided to try a roll out. Here are a couple from this morning! *Onto laundry...sigh!*

Fun at the park

Today I met Lacey and Sherise (and the kids of course) at a park in Auburn. It was so cool. They have all these water fountains for the kiddos to play in. Kylen had a great time...well..until some older kids came and splashed him in the face...meanies! Then to end our little trip...Miss Sage (see the post below) fell and got a pretty bad cut on her face and even needed to get a stitch! Yikes! Cousins

Today I got together w/ my SIL, Lacey, to take some pictures of the kiddos. Colton was not in the mood to take pictures, so I spent a lot of time getting some cute pictures of Sage. Here are some of my favorites...click on the image to see it bigger...G'night!

Bargain Shopping!

Today Dan went to his brother's house for some Fantasy Football something or other... I was bored so Kylen and I went to the Super Mall for some bargain shopping. The Children's Place was having a huge sale with lots of things $.99, $1.99, and $2.99! I got a bunch of bigger sizes for Ky. I also found a pair of $6.99 pants at Old Navy for myself which were then an additional 50% off! I was excited about that! Well...I'm off to bed now...spending the day w/ my sissy tomorrow! FUN!

Fun with Friends!

Today was such a fun day! I got to spend time with Tracy today. Tracy is my best friend from high school in New Jersey and moved here recently with her boyfriend who go stationed at Ft. Lewis. Out of all the places in the world...he gets placed here! We ate lunch...err...breakfast at this really yummy place in Tacoma and then chilled at her house for a little bit. Tracy has the same camera as me, so I tried to give her some pointers. After that, I went back home to meet w/ my friend Melissa. Melissa is due w/ her first baby in February...and I got to see her first ultrasound picture! I'm so excited for her! I can't wait for Kylen to have a little friend to play w/! Well...it's almost 1am...so I better get to sleep. Here are a few more pictures from yesterday. Enjoy!
