Sleep!

On Sunday Kylen had a sleepover at Grammy's house! Yeah for mommy....right?! Well...I thought so! LOL! I guess I'm so used to Kylen waking me up b/c I totally overslept! I woke up to Bella barking her head off and poor Mo ringing my doorbell ready to go to SeaTac for Reading First training. Oh NO! I quickly answered the door, threw on some clothes, brushed my teeth, and ran out the door. Come to find out later on in the day that I set my alarm for 6:30 PM not AM. SILLY me! Well, I better get some sleep. Round 2 for Reading First training tomorrow! Oh...here are a few pics of Jessica's little guy Elijah. Isn't he a cutie?!

Love is in the air! * [Tacoma Engagement Photographer]

I had the honor today to take "E" pics for Joel and Jessica. The Carter Lake staff (and parents too) have been praying for a wife for Joel for quite some time. ;-) We're thrilled that Joel found Jessica. They're getting married on December 20, 2008! (my birthday) Jessica is so beautiful...I can't wait to photograph their wedding. Anyways...I'm on my way to bring Ky to grammy's...a night to myself...woo woo!! Here's a sneak peek. Enjoy!

December Baby!

I can't believe this time last year I was preggers! How time flies! I had the opportunity to meet "E" today....a soon to be mommy due in Dec. We met up in Seattle and headed over to Kubota Gardens. The park had an "interesting" map that took us around in circles for over an hour. We FINALLY found the waterfall though! It was a really pretty place. Here's a little sneak peek for you! Kylen was a good boy today and took a 3 hour power nap...so I started editing! Enjoy!

Go FC Blues!!!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take team/individual pictures for a youth soccer team on McChord (FC Blues).
Kylen turned 10 months yesterday! I can't believe it...already in the double digits! Last night was TERRIBLE. Kylen kept on waking up screaming and nothing seemed to help him relax! It probably didn't help that I stayed up late editing soccer pictures. When he woke up today, I realized that one of his bottom teeth is starting to come through....explains his grumpy mood over the past couple of days.

Work is getting better. I was really busy getting reading groups going, then adjusting them a little, and starting DIBELS testing (a reading test we give K-5). I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable with things as each day passes....though it was not fun being "chewed" out by an angry parent over a decision I did not make and had to try to explain...ugh! I think things will get better though!

Well, I better get going. I'd like to finish the soccer pictures, so I can get them out hopefully tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Do the Puyallup!

Kylen is so lucky! He went to the fair twice already! Dan and I took Kylen to the fair last Saturday. He had so much fun. He learned how to clap and was clapping the whole time we were there. He also had his first barbecue sandwich...yum yum!

My mom and dad took Kylen to the fair again today. He won his first stuffed animal! He had a lot of fun!

Monday started our mommy/baby swimming lessons. Kylen LOVES the pool. We learned how to float on Monday...and today we learned how to go under water. I was so afraid Kylen was going to get scared and cry..but he loved it!Last weekend I tested out a new roll of seamless background paper. I also brought out the teacup to see if Kylen would scream again...hehe To my surprise...he didn't! He loved it! In fact, I even caught him clapping! Here are a couple of my favs:

Brown Eyed Boy

Well...Kylen is officially a brown eyed boy just like his daddy! It's been a while since I took pictures of Ky, so I tested out my grey seamless paper today. Tomorrow's open house at work! I'm excited to see all the little kiddos! I'm helping out w/ the yearbook this year, so I'll be able to get a lot of photography practice! Well...here's one picture for now. It's after 3pm...probably should take a shower...hehe....gotta love lazy days! I'll post some more pics later!
