I realized today I never blogged this wonderful session from November!  I met this wonderful family for their session in the POURING rain!  Yes!  POURING rain!  You can never predict the weather in Washington state.  They were great sports and we were able to get some fun photos.  Enjoy!

Welcome Home Hero! * JBLM Family Photographer

It's the best feeling in the world when a student tells me their Mom or Dad is coming home from a deployment.  After 10 years of teaching on JBLM, I've seen 100's of parents coming and going for months at a time and even longer.  It always amazes me to watch the children press forward and be strong through the difficult separation.  I always wondered what it was like when a parent came home.  Recently, I had the honor of photographing a homecoming for a wonderful family.  I felt so honored to be a part of this special moment!

Happy Birthday Miss L! * Gig Harbor Family - Child Photographer

Remember when Miss L made her debut last year? She's back celebrating her first birthday! This time she brought her family to help celebrate the big event. You're probably thinking I recognize the other cutie in the photos. Yup! That's Miss J and she came to visit just about a year ago too!

I love this part of my job. It's so much fun to see precious tiny babies grow up. I feel so honored to be able to document these priceless moments!

Worth the wait! * Bellevue - Kirkland Baby Photographer

Meet Miss Z! I was supposed to have her 6 month session a while back, but she wasn't in the mood that day. It worked out perfect because I got to spend time chatting with her mommy and daddy at the Olive Garden. (Her mommy and I met on the Seattle Bump.) Even better was we rescheduled for the perfect day! We met up yesterday at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. It was beautiful! Here are a few of my favorites!

One of my favorite families!!!!! ...okay..I've been friends w/ mom since around '99. ;-) Mr. N just celebrated his 1 year birthday. We really lucked out today w/ the weather. It was nice for our session...and then right at the end began to sprinkle and poured the rest of the day! Here are a few of my favorites!
