I had the honor of photographing one of my c0-worker's wedding reception this weekend. It was at a teacher's dream location: The Kennedy School in Portland, OR. For those of you who haven't heard of this place, it's awesome! It's an old elementary schoolhouse converted into a hotel/restaurant/event location. It was the PERFECT location for the C-C wedding reception since they met during the new teacher orientation. (I just love that!) *Sigh* Sessions like this one remind me how much I love photography. Aren't these little ones adorable?! I spend the day with the P-M family today. Sara & Jesse *Married!* - University Place Wedding Photographer

The M family is very special to me. I had the honor of being Jesse's son's teacher at the end of last year. I always have a big heart for all my students, but every once in a while one grabs onto my heartstrings. This little guy was one of those kiddos. Today I met Little I and his family. It's always great when I meet clients and feel like I've known them forever. I immediately felt at home! Mr. I was a great model....cried a little at first and then cooperated like a champ! It was only at the end when he decided enough's enough and made us work hard for those last couple shots.
