30...yes...today is my 30th birthday! I have to say that it's been my favorite birthday so far! It started on Friday when some of my wonderful coworkers decorated my office with black balloons and wore black ribbons to mourn me getting older....hehe. They also surprised me with a special message on the reader board. The best thing that day was when Mrs. Richardson's reading group started singing Happy Birthday in the hallway. It was so cute! Yesterday my inlaws drove up to take us out to lunch and surprised us with a Christmas tree. Last night some of my awesome friends took me out to celebrate my 21+9 birthday. We had a yummy meal at Masa's in Tacoma and then his Chopsticks for some piano fun. It was a blast. Today, my actual birthday, was a lo-key day. We put up the Christmas tree and hung out in our jammies. My parents and sister came over for some cake to end the celebration. I am blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. My friends, family, and clients are the best! May your Christmas be filled with lots of peace, love, and joy!

My baby is turning TWO on Thursday! Where did the time go? Ky and I spent the day together playing and wandering around the Supermall. We *tried* to get a haircut...but that didn't go so well. Here are a few that turned out...it's SOOOOO hard to photograph your own child!

I DANCE … around with Kylen sometimes...yes...I look like a dork when I do it

I SING … in the car....all the time!

I NEVER … get up when the alarm goes off for the first time...most days it's after the snooze alarm goes off for the 3rd time.

I RARELY … go a day or two without checking my email....it's a bad habit

I CRY WHEN I WATCH … a love story..I'm a sucker for romance

I AM NOT ALWAYS …good at answering the phone.

I HATE THAT … my husband has been injured for over a year and it seems like no one is willing to help him/us. GRR!

I’M CONFUSED ABOUT …why my dog likes to chew up my husband's American Eagle shirts...it's so annoying!

I NEED … to take it easy more!

I SHOULD … be doing laundry...but that's no fun!

I HOPE ... that I can inspire others in the world of teaching and photography :-)

Happy Halloween * Fife Child Photographer

Okay...so I'm a day late! The Gueck family made a last minute trip down near Portland to be there for my father-in-law's surgery. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer and luckily caught it early on. His surgery went really well and is even up and walking around a little! Kylen spent his 2nd Halloween down there. I tried to do a little session with him...but he wasn't enjoying his costume. (I so need to write Gymboree and ask them to use zippers in their costumes instead of velcro....it was driving Ky crazy!)

*sigh* I looooooooove photographing newborns! It's my favorite type of session... despite the hours of waiting for the perfect photo. It's all worth it! I met Mr. J today....what a cutie pie! Here are a few of my favorites so far.
